Residential Window Cleaning Services
We clean alot of houses in North Myrtle Beach. From the big rental properties along Ocean Boulevard to the regular homes in Tilghman Estates and Windy Hill, we’ve probably cleaned windows in your neighborhood.
We focus on exterior window cleaning for homes. The outside is where all the damage happens anyway – salt spray, pollen, dirt, and weather. That’s what people actually see from the street and what blocks the light coming into your house. We also clean screens, tracks, and sills because whats the point of having clean glass if everything around it is still dirty?
What Actually Happens During a Residential Window Cleaning
Here’s how we do it. We start by walking around your house with you to count windows and look for any issues. Sometimes windows have cracks or damage that cleaning wont help, and we’ll point that out upfront.
We bring all our own equipment, ladders, and cleaning solutions. You dont need to provide anything except access to an outdoor water spigot.
First thing we do is remove all the screens. We lay them flat and clean each one properly with soft brushes and mild soap. Most people just spray screens with a hose, but that doesn’t actually get the dirt out of the mesh. We scrub them down and rinse them completely clean.
While screens are drying, we get to work on the window glass itself. We use professional squeegees and solutions mixed specifically for North Myrtle Beach’s salt air. The technique matters way more than most people realize. You gotta get the angle right and use the right amount of pressure or you’ll leave streaks everywhere.
The frames and sills get cleaned by hand. This part takes time but makes a huge difference. Years of dirt, dead bugs, and salt buildup sits in those areas. We scrub everything down with brushes and cleaning solution. Some window sills are so bad we have to use scrapers to get the caked-on grime off.
Tracks are probably the dirtiest part of any window. We clean those out completely – vacuum first to get loose debris, then scrub with small brushes to get into all the corners. The amount of dirt that comes out of window tracks always surprises people.
After everything is clean and dry, we put all the screens back in place and do a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything looks good.
Pricing for Residential Exterior Window Cleaning
We charge $12 per window for exterior cleaning. That includes the glass, screen, frame, track, and sill – everything that’s part of that window gets cleaned.
So if you’ve got 20 windows, that’s $240. A house with 30 windows runs $360. Most homes in North Myrtle Beach have somewhere between 15-35 windows depending on the size of the house.
We give you the exact price upfront before we start any work. We’ll walk around and count every window with you so there’s no confusion. No surprises or hidden fees added on at the end.
